Ok, so this is the poncho I am knitting. Of course, mine is being made out of cotton because its 100+ degrees in AZ and there is just no need for mohair. I have a 1/4th of it knitted so I will post me wearing it as soon as my fingers can finish it!
I taught my sister to knit this weekend. She said that I was patient. It's true, miracles do happen. The day that someone calls me patient, especially my family, is a a new day for me.
Oh! and I have found a new use for un-used yarn. Get a storage basket from Michaels (they are 40% off this weekend), roll up like colored yarn into balls, and display them. Fabulous use of yarn! And lets me be aware of what I have so I will stop buying more yarn.
Oh! Well, off to knit my poncho and binge on VH1!
